Kristofer L. Mathisen is Vice President of Professional Services for Cognitive Technologies. In that capacity, Mr. Mathisen provides leadership and tactical planning for all Cognitive Technologies Professional Services and Projects. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) specializing in the successful delivery and turn-around of at-risk, mission-critical projects.

In the past, Mr. Mathisen has partnered with Health Organizations to support their clinical agenda as well as strengthen their IT service delivery model. He has made a notable contribution to the health care and education sectors by heading the project team at the Association of American Medical Colleges where his team redesigned AMCAS, the national system for processing medical college applications and admissions. Mr Mathisen has a strong background in program and project management, with an emphasis on building strong teams for complex software development projects; thereby leveraging a myriad of implementation methodologies.

As the former Director of Professional Services with Implementation Services for Information Systems he has led initiatives exceeding $200 Million in revenue. He has worked for General Dynamics, where he led development efforts for advanced systems to support business workflow and decision making for large weapons R&D projects within the US Navy. His earlier experience includes overall responsibility for the design, development, and implementation of high-reliability transaction processing systems for the financial industry and a large-scale customer information system for various mid-to-large sized public utility companies. He also led IT strategic engagements for several organizations.

Mr Mathisen has been an active Project Management Institute member for over six (6) years, was a charter member of the E-Business PMI special interest group and has received various recognitions from executives in a variety of industry sectors.
