Cognitive Technologies Awarded Beacon Associates’ Human Performance Improvement Project Subcontracts
Austin, TX, NOVEMBER 20, 2009. Cognitive Technologies -- a consulting firm specializing in project management, collaborative processes, and organizational effectiveness for federal and state government and Fortune 1000 companies - has been awarded two recent subcontracts with Beacon Associates/Beacon Performance Group to support new human performance improvement projects in the technology and the oil and gas industries.
In support of the first project, Cognitive Technologies will conduct human performance analysis work with executives at AMD. The purpose of this project is to identify existing leadership development gaps and opportunities to enhance development initiatives. Cognitive Technologies will be using the Performance DNA methodology and toolset to elicit, document, and analyze the data captured from these interviews.
The second project calls for Cognitive Technologies personnel to lead an instructional design team in the development of performance-based training and experiential learning for a large international petroleum firm. Design teams will be using data from a recent analysis to develop job aids, classroom training, and in-field learning activities for areas including production engineering, petrophysics, reservoir engineering, and others.
