Austin, TX, AUGUST 24, 2009Cognitive Technologies - a consulting firm specializing in project management, collaborative processes, and organizational effectiveness for the federal government and Fortune 1000 companies - has been awarded a project to upgrade Microsoft® Project Server 2003 to Project Server 2007 for the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA).

This project will involve consolidating and migrating two separate Project Servers and Microsoft SharePoint, upgrading application program interfaces (APIs) and reports, and implementing Microsoft Portfolio Manager 2007. And as a central Texas business, we have great respect for LCRA and their mission of providing reliable, low-cost utility and public services while utilizing their leadership and environmental authority to protect and constructively use our area's natural resources.
