Cognitive Technologies Awarded Leadership Development Subcontract
Austin, TX, MARCH 8, 2010. Cognitive Technologies -- a consulting firm specializing in project management, collaborative processes, and organizational effectiveness for federal and state government and Fortune 1000 companies – has been awarded a subcontract with Beacon Associates’ (Beacon Performance Group) to design and develop a leadership development program for a leading global technology company specializing in the next generation of computing and graphics solutions.
Cognitive Technologies, working with Beacon Performance Group, will design and develop a project based on the Performance DNA training methodology created by Dr. Karen McGraw, CEO of Cognitive Technologies. The leadership development project will include the development of:
· Pre-classroom materials.
· A performance-based classroom experience that includes learning activities and simulations.
· Post-classroom materials to extend learning and aid retention and long-term development.
“Many leadership development projects are too subject-matter focused, consisting of a rotation of ‘talking heads’ that pontificate, but do little to help new leaders produce real, measurable results,” says Dr. McGraw. “We’re energized by the opportunity to create a program founded on the measurable outcomes these new leaders will be required to produce. Additionally, it’s personally gratifying that this project will be using the Performance DNA training design methodology that I created.”
