Cognitive Technologies Part of TIPSS-4 Team Tapped by the IRS
January 14, 2010. Cognitive Technologies -- a consulting firm specializing in project management, collaborative processes, and organizational effectiveness for federal and state government and Fortune 1000 companies – has been selected as a member of one of the winning teams to provide IT services for the IRS.
The IRS selected 33 contractor teams to provide IT services as a part of the Total Information Processing Support Services-4 program. Support services for this program include:
- IT development
- Operations and maintenance
- Cyber security
- Program management support

The TIPSS-4 contract has one base year and nine-year options.
