Cognitive Technologies’ Founder Attends Event in Nation’s Capital to Influence Public Policy Issues

March 3, 2004 – Dr. Karen McGraw, founder and president of Cognitive Technologies Group in Atlanta, attended Public Policy Days in Washington, DC, February 29-March 2. The event, sponsored by National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and sponsored by AT&T, drew thousands of women business owners to the nation’s capital to meet with legislators, the President’s staff, and to network with women business owners across all industries. Dr. McGraw is a long-time member of NAWBO, a national organization representing 10,000 women business owners across all industries.

“This was an amazing opportunity to join women from across the country to discuss issues that challenge all business owners, including Association Health Plans and procurement, and to work toward resolutions by meeting with the key legislators whose support we need to create a fertile environment for women business owners to succeed,” said Dr. Karen McGraw.
