Cognitive Technologies Group Receives Microsoft Project Certification
November 10, 2003 Cognitive Technologies Group, LLC,
of Atlanta GA, is pleased to announce that several of our associates
have received Microsoft Project Orange Belt certification from the International
Institute of Learning (IIL). This certification is the first step in
the curriculum toward Black Belt certification
and a Masters in Microsoft Project. This certification is recognized
by Microsoft, PMI, and the American Council for Education. It is awarded
only upon successful completion of the multi-week course, which includes
a test to confirm mastery. Those attaining the Orange Belt certification
in October include Bruce McGraw, Doug Mitchell, Arthur Darr, and Lisa
Grant.
“We are very proud of the recent certification of these individuals.
This is yet another way that our personnel distinguish themselves from
others for whom project management is not a serious profession. I applaud
their achievement and the initiative they are taking to differentiate
themselves in the project manage-
ment field,” says Dr. Karen McGraw, president of Cognitive Technologies
Group.
IIL is a member of PMI’s Corporate Council. The Corporate Council is
designed to provide corporations the opportunity to support and associate
with PMI directly and to develop synergies between PMI and senior executives
at leading corporations in the global community.
