Cognitive Technologies Group Re-certified as Woman Owned Business
January 11, 2005 – Cognitive Technologies Group, LLC, of Atlanta GA, has been re-certified as a business owned and controlled by a woman by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). Founded in 1997, WBENC is the nation's leading advocate of women-owned businesses as suppliers to America's corporations. It also is the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the United States.
"Being a certified woman-owned business benefits our clients and partners. WBENC certification ensures that major corporations and government agencies can more easily identify true women-owned businesses, providing more opportunities for companies like ours to bid and win contracts,” says Dr. Karen McGraw, president. "Re-certification enables us to extend our relationships with larger companies and create opportunities for future partnerships with them and public and private contracts."
The WBENC certification for women-owned businesses is one of the most widely recognized and respected certifications in the nation. Over 500 US companies and government agencies rely on the WBENC certification as an integral part of their supplier diversity programs.
