Performance DNA for Project Managers |
| Using a methodology called Performance DNA, Cognitive Technologies creates a model of high performance based on your exemplary project managers. Then we identify the most effective solutions and recommendations to increase the success of project managers in your organization. The Performance DNA methodology requires several well-defined steps. First, we analyze the outcomes that project managers must produce to achieve your organizational goals. Then, we drill down to examine the work processes and tasks your project managers use to do their work and produce the outcomes that matter. Next, we examine the influences on performance that act as barriers and facilitators to success — learning and development, managerial support, processes and information, resources/tools, physical workplace, talent acquisition, and motivation. Finally, we consolidate interview data to reveal patterns, trends, and findings. The result is a plan to help you create a new standard for project manager performance in your organization — one that increases the percent of project managers who can perform at the exemplary level. Costs for this solution vary based on organizational size and number of interviews, but start at $100K. |

Project Management Maturity |
| The X-Force Project Management Maturity Assessment is a structured approach to guide a specific organization, or organizational unit, through a self-assessment of project management maturity. Cognitive Technologies supplies both the approach and the team to perform it, saving you time while improving the quality of the assessment. Like the “X-Men”, the Cognitive X-Force team has highly developed specialized skills and expertise. It includes senior project management professionals skilled in OPM3 standards and assessment. OPM3 is an acronym for Organizational Project Management Maturity Model, a standard developed by the Project Management Institute. As important, X-Force Teams have extensive practical expertise in how these standards support successful mission-critical projects. Because team members have managed diverse large programs, and worked in complex environments, from establishing and managing PMOs, to spearheading ‘project recovery’ situations, they know how critical it is to systematically develop organizational project management maturity. Project X-Force Maturity Assessments costs vary based on the number of participants to consider. The base cost is $10,000 to $25,000. |

Project Audit |
| The
Project Audit measures the health and ability of a single,
critical project or program to achieve its goals, and identifies risk
elements and opportunities to improve success. Since Cognitive supplies a team of experts who have both specialized skills and practical experience in large scale project planning, project management, project implementation, and when needed, project recovery. The output of the audit is a summary report, in PowerPoint format, of positive and negative factors that can impact the success of the project, along with improvements that are ranked as critical, strongly recommended, or simply desirable. Costs for the Project Audit service vary based on the size of the project to be audited and the number of participants to be interviewed. Typical costs range from $15,000 to $50,000. |

Project Lessons Learned Survey |
| Capture valuable lessons learned and best practices at the conclusion of a project or project phase – a time when memories are fresh and ideas for improvement particularly relevant. Our easy-to-use, web-based survey collects information covering ten critical factor areas from project team members. Survey results highlight project activities considered "best practice" as well as those that could be improved. Companies who systematically pay attention to the lessons learned on past projects, and apply this knowledge to future ones continually improve project results. The Cognitive Lessons Learned Survey lets organizations make it cost-effective and timely to gather structure data from every major project. It encourages open response and specific suggestions while at the same time providing a strong repeatable framework for overall accuracy. Lessons Learned surveys costs vary based on the number of participants from which information is gathered and analyzed. The cost for the basic survey plus stats in a MS Excel and Word format is a minimum of $1,500 (for up to 100 team members). Additional team members are $5 each. An optional service includes the Executive Summary presentation in PowerPoint for an additional $1,500. |
