Project assessments and audits
Assess and audit your organization’s project management maturity and/or the health of critical projects to reduce risks and improve project success ratios. Let our Project X-Force team guide your organization’s self assessment, using PMI’s OPM3 maturity model and process. This includes managing the assessment process, identifying capabilities and areas of practice not yet fully developed, and planning the implementation of improved processes. Or we can audit the health and ability of a single, critical project or program to achieve its goals, identifying risk elements and opportunities to improve success. This includes informal interviews with project team members, a review of current processes, tools, and practices, and an analysis of project plans.

Project ‘lessons learned’ surveys
Capture valuable lessons learned and best practices at the conclusion of a project or project phase. Our easy-to-use, web-based survey collects information covering 10 critical factor areas from project team members. The tool also captures demographic information about each respondent’s project role and length of time on the project to enable comparisons across roles and sub-teams. Results, including statistics and findings, highlight project activities considered “best practice” as well as those that could be improved to enhance the success of future projects.

Performance support
Provide online resources and information to improve the performance of key positions. Our performance consultants analyze job performance, identify barriers and needs, and suggest opportunities to improve performance with online access to support tools and resources. We use our performance-centered methodology to define requirements and design online resources and support ranging from help to coaches, wizards, and tips that guide users through complex tasks.

Outcome-based performance management
Get the outcomes desired from key performers using outcome-based job descriptions, competency models, interview guides, and organizational support. Our performance specialists use the Performance DNA methodology to interview stakeholders, observe and analyze key performers, examine work processes and technology, and investigate organizational influencers that impact performance. We use the resulting information to craft job descriptions, competency models, interview guides, and suggestions for organizational support that will improve hiring, retention, and performance for critical positions.

Curriculum design and conversion
Construct curricula that produce desired performance results. Our professionals document long-term aims, explicit outcome-based goal statements, and define testable objectives to lay the groundwork for an effective curriculum. We use an established methodology to guide the identification of resources and delivery methods to be used, to specify timing and sequencing of instructional units, and to define assessment procedures. We can also assist you in converting and re-purposing existing training material for online/distance learning that meets performer needs while reducing direct and indirect costs. Our professionals analyze your instructor-delivered courses to assess candidates for conversion to distance learning.
